Census Population Change

Population 1990: Census population as of April 1, 1990.

Population 2000: Census population as of April 1, 2000.

Net Change: The difference between the 1990 population and the 2000 population.

Percent Change: The difference between the 1990 population and the 2000 population expressed as a percentage of the 1990 population.

Land Area: Total land area in square miles as of April 1, 2000.

Persons Per Square Mile 1990: A measure of population density calculated by dividing the 1990 census population by the 1990 land area.

Persons Per Square Mile 2000: A measure of population density calculated by dividing the 2000 census population by the 2000 land area.
